What I used before: Aeropress, Aeropress Go, V60, minipresso. Pros: I find the brew that I get with pipamoka excellent in context of the immensely convenient design. The coffee tastes great but will still taste like a brew made with a non-paper filter. Its a little muddy compared to an aeropress or v60 that use paper. The coffee remains hot for hours especially if you preheat everything. The volume lines are really convenient. You can pregind the coffee and store it in the puck which is so convenient. The aeropress go makes better coffee but with all the components I find it less convenient as a whole coffee system out of the box. Cons: Like with any brewing method you need to find the right consistency. I find the aeropress far more accommodating if your grind size is a bit off. If you grind too fine the water won't make its way through the puck. As a brew the aeropress and v60 have much more clarity and have less silt. The aeropress and v60 are far easier to clean. But this isn't very hard its just that those methods are really easy to clean. Other thoughts: I don't get the people (in the other reviews) who cut their hands on the orange ring? Its not hard to turn at all. You just need to slow down. Overall if I'm at home. Aeropress and V60 all the way. On the go and at work this is the best.
