The sleeve feels very good and protects one’s hands from the heat! I recommend it very heavily!

I bought it as a gift for my husband and to replace the Wacaco Nanopresso which has started to leak after faithfully serving him for the last few years. The picopresso is definitely a step up from Nano. It gives a fuller shot, uses metal and plastic at the right places to make the gizmo more enduring. The small design is ingenious. I have heard nothing but compliments from my husband. BTW, the new grinder also makes it possible to get to the finer grind desired to make the right shot. This is definitely a winner.
